What Is Video Editing
Video editing is the process through which video images are
manipulated and modified. Video editing is what allows us to remove
any section of the video that we don't require, as well as add
effects, transitions, accommodate sequences and rearrange any video
clips or segments as we want.
The final quality of the video will depend on the video editing.
Video editing is one of the most important steps in creating a video.
During video editing we can cut portions of the video, delete
portions, change the sequence of shots in such a way that the end
product is totally different from the original video.
With digital formats non- linear video editing is the type of editing
used, while linear editing is the method used for analog mechanisms.
Nowadays, non- linear is the editing mechanism mostly used. Non –
linear editing makes changing the order in which sequences or clips
are shot. It as easy as any cut process and is as simple as clicking
on the area where we wish to cut.
Non – linear and linear editing helps movie and video makers to let
loose their imagination and manipulate the video on their PC. There
are many video editing software which helps you create different
effects, transitions and audio manipulations. The audio in the video
can also be manipulated in different tracks separate from the images.
When your video is finally ready then its time to Video edit it. In
video editing the final video is processed, effects are added, cuts
and transitions decided and all the sequences are placed in the
correct order. Video editing can make a home video taken by an amateur
look like a video make by a professional. Though most video editing
software are a bit complicated, but if you spend some time going
through the software then it becomes easy to understand.
